The Heron Nationals on Lake Cootharaba Queensland 2013/14, was a fantastic family regatta and as you know, it's not always just about the sailing.

2nd Dave Johnson with Lachlan & Thomas in Heronassurus QLD
3rd Greg Harris with Thomas in Slippery When Wet NSW
4th Jason Groves with Ashley Brewin in Fatty & Skinny NSW
And the new tradition of the Navy Jacket, begun in Lake Macquarie, is carried on.
In first place in the 55th Heron Nationals, in O for Awesome were Brien & Rosie Hennessy WA
Congratulations to everyone and thanks to Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club, for putting on a great regatta.
And it's all over for another year. What a fabulous way to end one year and start another.
See you in Tassie for 2014/15.
Oh and even though 1st and 6th were wooden boats with Freddy Foils, guess who built the other 5 boats in the top seven places. Hello Freddy.
